What is a poem? What is art? What is the purpose of it?
Why is it all so important or is it at all?

Brain-Dump: 🧠
- Generational changes happen in the blink of an eye, but did the meaning and concept of a poem ever change? Of course, it did, but how and what is the question? Based on our friend Google, the invention of poems dates back as far as 5000 years ago! But do you know what is even crazier? It is the fact that it went from being written on pure rock to a thin piece of paper and now it can even be written with just the movements of your fingertips. I might sound like some old boomer 😂 but that fact in itself is fascinating. There are so many more generational changes, but the one thing that makes a poem so unique is that it can be conveyed using one's voice or someone else to bring forth a theme in such a small number of words is mind-blowing. On the other hand, what even is art? Is it a painting? is it a movie? Is it a book? or is it.... you? 😳. Well... let's find out in the next section called "Class Discussion" where many of you shared your ideas and concerns about art.
Class-Discussion: 💭
- During our conversation regarding the topic of arts, I realized that to many of you the idea of "art" is, in general, just a fun activity to release your creativity, but is that truly all? I believe that everything and, yes, everyone is art. If you think about it, what exactly is the process of making a so-called painting? You flick your brush part by part to slowly turn colors-fragment into something beautiful. Can that also apply to what you accomplish daily? Are you the meaning behind art? I know I'm asking a lot of questions 😂 but by doing that I am intentionally making a point about something interesting and that, right now, is you being what people so-called "art." Let's get a little technical and talks about how human evolved. First, you are a baby, slowly you learn how to talk, walk, run, and now in the blink of an eye you are now... you! Isn't that cool? If you think about it, the human body or evolution developed in a way that we are considered as art in itself. So, before you call art as something creative and beautiful, remember that it also applies to you! Well, that is all for now, thank you for your time and until next time....
Adios, ✌
