My Thoughts: 😆😮💬
- I saw that you had made a video, it was pretty funny, responding to the topic of "STEM" which was talked about in one of my blogs based on the story of Oryx and Crake by Margeret Atwood. Personally, STEM dives deeper than just its surface level of being a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. When it comes to the idea of how STEM might have been a factor in ending human civilization in the story, it actually goes deeper into how the invention of the "BlyssPluss" pill was created. As you already know, to create something as advanced as a pill that can wipe out the human race, everything that relates to STEM was what allowed such a thing to happen in the first place. Science allows the pill to have the dissolving and poisonous effects that it is supposed to have. Technology was what gave life to life to the idea of such a thing, considering the technological advancement at the time. Engineering was what outlined the creation of the pill and gave it the actual shapes and sizes that can be consumed. Lastly, math is what determines the concentration of how much a pill can have to be multiplied in large quantities in order to wipe out the human population. Yes, it is pretty dark, but that is the reality we all live in. As humans continue to evolve, fearing for the future is never an understatement.
